This Privacy Policy explains how Kamaq Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses your personal data when you use FairValu (the “Service”). We are the data controller. Kamaq Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 14645436; our registered office address is on file with Companies House. 1. Data we collect

  • Account data: email address and a securely hashed password; or, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google shares (name, email).
  • Subscription and payment data: your subscription status and billing records. Card payments are processed by Stripe — we do not receive or store your full card number.
  • Usage data: watchlists, saved preferences, features used, and technical data such as IP address, device/browser type, and log data.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: used for authentication, preferences, and analytics (including Google Analytics — see section 3).

3. Sharing your data

We share personal data only as needed with:

  • Stripe — payment processing;
  • Hetzner Online GmbH — hosting and server infrastructure;
  • Google — Google Analytics (usage analytics) and Google Cloud Vertex AI (to generate AI-based analysis);
  • authorities or advisers where required by law.

We do not sell your personal data. Market and financial data shown in the Service is obtained from third-party providers and is not derived from your personal data.

4. International transfers

Some of our providers (including Stripe and Google) may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or Standard Contractual Clauses / the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA).

5. Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for as long as required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@fairvalu.com. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures (including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls) to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or by email, and the “Last updated” date above will change.
